Mt. Morris Veterans' Park

Local Point of Interest

The Veterans' Park in Mount Morris was created in 2001 and contains multiple monuments and plaques commemorating soldiers from the Civil War up to the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars. In 2018, the Mt. Morris Fire Department dedicated a steel beam from the World Trade Center as a 9/11 memorial at the park.

For the first time in 2020, organizations and families could sponsor "memory trees" outside the park in remembrance of people of their choosing. The Mt. Morris Rotary then decorated these spruce trees with lights for the December holidays.
