Hartford House Bed and Breakfast
The Historic Hartford House in Geneseo was built in 1835 by future Civil War General James S. Wadsworth and is still inhabited by his descendants today. The large mansion with a commanding view overlooking the Genesee Valley now has 4 Bed and Breakfast units available. The 70-acre estate also has an organic vegetable farm, plenty of open space and wildlife and is home to the Genesee Volley Tennis & Croquet Club. Conveniently located in the Village of Geneseo, we are within easy walking distance of SUNY Geneseo and Historic Main Street.
One of our units, The Garden Suite, is open year-round. The other three units and the Tennis Club are open seasonally May through October.
Swimming pool open in season. Tennis and croquet club on grounds. Each suite has Hi-Def TV with Roku, Wireless WiFi, Private Bath and Air Conditioning. The Garden Suite in the South Wing has its own kitchenette and the 3 units in the Main House share a kitchen.
