The Riviera Theatre is a piece of living history in Geneseo's downtown. Built in the early 1900s, the theatre functioned as the village's entertainment hub until it shuttered its doors in the 1990s. New owners brought life back to the vintage theatre in 2013, reopening the venue as a mixed-use performing arts facility.
Today, the Riviera screens movies--including classic films on Wednesdays and Sundays--and hosts live performances from music to theatrical productions. The restored building also functions as a venue for receptions, lectures and private parties.
